Sewage and grossly contaminated water. We classify the loss, sample it, and write the scope to IICRC S500. We do not remediate.

Fire and smoke protocols

Protocols follow ANSI/IICRC S700. We test residues and odor, then write the scope. The restoration contractor does the cleaning and removal. We do not.

About IAQ Services LLC

A veteran-owned shop that still writes its own scopes.

IAQ Services LLC was founded in 2019 in Spring Hill, Florida, and is led by President Rick Laird. The work sits on more than thirty years in restoration and environmental consulting — mold, moisture, fire and water protocol, industrial hygiene, and the industrial hazards most home inspectors never see.

We are licensed mold assessors, insured, and independent. Samples go to accredited third-party laboratories. That matters when an insurer, a buyer, or an OSHA file is on the other end of the report.

If the job is a Tampa bungalow with a musty closet, a mill with a noise and dust problem, a nationwide CAT assignment, or an international job, the method is the same: find the source, measure it, and put it in writing.

Do you take international jobs?

Yes. If the loss, the plant, or the carrier is outside the U.S., we quote travel and deploy. Bring the address, the concern, and the timeline — we will tell you if we can make the window.

Are you a Florida licensed mold assessor?

Yes. Mold assessments are performed by inspectors licensed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. We are licensed and insured.

What is the difference between a mold inspection and mold remediation?

Inspection and testing find the moisture source, the extent of growth, and what the air contains. Remediation is the physical removal, and we do not do that. We investigate, sample, write the scope, and come back for clearance testing.

Do you assess fire damage and test for combustion byproducts?

Yes. We test and write the scope to ANSI/IICRC S700. We do not clean, remove, or remediate. The plan tells the contractor what to clean, what to replace, and how far residues and odor went. Sampling goes to an accredited lab when the loss needs it. Call (352) 293-1495.

Yes. We work as a field resource for EHS and safety managers — noise and hearing conservation surveys, chemical and dust exposure monitoring, WAG in healthcare, and other industrial hygiene work that needs accredited lab data and a written report. Do you work with insurance companies and restoration contractors?

Every week, as the third party. Moisture mapping, protocol and scope, and clearance sampling. We do not remediate. The reports are written for people who have to defend a scope.
